Classification Detail

This class includes all activities auxiliary to financial intermediation not classified elsewhere, including financial advisers, mortgage advisers and brokers, bureaux de change, etc. Exclusions: Insurance agents' and other activities closely related to insurance and pension funding are classified in class 6720 (Activities auxiliary to insurance and pension funding). Business brokerage activities (i.e. arranging for the purchase and sale of small and medium-sized businesses, including professional practices) and patent brokerage activities (arranging for the purchase and sale of patents) are classified in 7499 (Other business activities n.e.c.).
