TSG wished to convey to the UNSD that if after they examined the ISIC/CPC links in the TSA, UN wished to refer any question to the TSG, then they should do so.
More generally TSG recommended that new ISIC aggregations or ISIC/CPC links should be referred to the TSG for review.

TSA has created a list of tourism related products defined on page 87 of the TSA. They have also produced a list with existing CPC codes and subdivided them when they want to go into greater detail. Tourism activities can only be defined in terms of products and they have created a list of tourism activities based on the product list. However, they have also detailed tourism related activities whose output is principally one or more of the tourism related products. On page 123, these activities have been linked to ISIC and SICTA. SN recognized and acknowledged the problem with second houses. The WTO displays some mixing of product and activity when identifying things and has requested that the TSG be supportive in the future to help clarify and resolve some of these issues.
WTO is also requesting assistance and explanation when the proposed Tourism questionnaire goes out, because the way the questions are being posed to the statistical offices is going to create problems. Right now there are problems because ISIC has only one class for accommodations while most national registers have further breakdowns. This means that each country will have to determine what data to provide as tourism. As a satellite account, this does raise the importance of reporting data.
