Discussion

US - in agreement Australia - in agreement. Better title would be "Professional and Business Services" RB - What is "Professional"? In the discussion in the Expert Group, this could be brought up. 2/2/2001 - This can be brought up in the discussion in the upcoming TSG Mar 2001 meeting.

Decision

25/9/2001 - Addressed in March 2001 TSG and the title agreed upon. However, the title of CPC V1.0 code 83 - "Other Professional and Business Services" should be reviewed. 27/9/2001 - Division 82 title is "Business and Professional Services". Division 83 title is "Other Professional and Business Services". This makes for imprecision since the word "Professional" is already difficult to define in this context. 05/11/2001 RB: Change of title for Division 82 from "Professional and business services" to " "Legal and accounting services" TSG Meeting 02/02: 1. Change title of Division 83 to read:"Other professional, technical and business services" 2. Change title of Group 839 to read: "Other professional, technical and business services n.e.c." 3. Change title of Class 8399 to read: All other professional, technical and business services, n.e.c. 4. Change title of Subclass 83990 to read: All other professional, technical and business services, n.e.c.
